Digital Illustration/Design Concept
Landlord Therapist is a game concept based on being a landlord who meets, befriends, and helps a variety of tenants in your apartment complex. Landlord Therapist is a visual novel management simulator. It was made to address multiple themes but mainly housing discrimination, community and mental health directed toward a young adult audience.

The project lasted around a couple months. I was the only artist on the team with my collaborators, Halayna Moyer, Balter Wang and Eric Zhang. I handled everything from initial concepts to final artwork created digitally. I made character sprites, a logo and a background illustration. My team members handled things like narrative and coding. We started off with general concepts, then we went into mood boards of various aspects from background inspiration to character art inspiration. We honed in on the narrative first before creating characters who each have their own story to explore in the game.
